Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualifications:

• Must have passed the 10th standard with Mathematics and English.
• Must have studied the local language (Telugu) up to the 10th standard.

Additional Requirements:

• Minimum: 18 years
• Maximum: 40 years

Salary Details

• Branch Postmaster (BPM): ₹12,000 – ₹29,380
• Assistant Branch Postmaster (ABPM) / Dak Sevak: ₹10,000 – ₹24,470

Job Roles & Responsibilities

1. Branch Postmaster (BPM)

   • Manage postal operations and India Post Payments Bank (IPPB) services.
   • Market and promote various postal products.
   • Oversee smooth functioning of branch offices.
   • Provide accommodation for the branch office before engagement.

2. Assistant Branch Postmaster (ABPM)

   • Handle stamp sales and mail delivery.
   • Support the BPM in daily operations.
   • Manage IPPB transactions and departmental services.
   • Reside within the jurisdiction of the assigned post office.
   • May be required to perform BPM duties when needed.

3. Dak Sevak

   • Assist in mail delivery and handle sorting tasks.
   • Support railway mail services and departmental operations.
   • Engage in marketing and business procurement activities.
   • Reside within the assigned post office jurisdiction.
